Postpartum Sexual Health for Mothers

8-Week Live Group Program starting october 13th, 2024

Postpartum Liberated Libido

Reclaim your body, wellbeing, and pleasure after baby

Matrescence is a sacred rite of passage, a time of profound change. Yet our patriarchal culture expects new moms to just ‘bounce back’ after baby.

This leaves many of us in postpartum shame, stigma, and isolation. As a Women’s Health & Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Certified Sex Coach, Midwife, and Mom of 4, I know the postpartum portal intimately. I created this program to help mamas from all walks of life…

  • Break free from oppressive systems and norms that create postpartum shame.

  • Understand and normalize changes (physical, emotional, and relational) that happen in pregnancy, postpartum and beyond.

  • Make empowered choices about our sexual health, and advocate for ourselves in healthcare settings and relationships.

  • Prioritize our pleasure and wellbeing, reclaim our sexual identity, and enjoy a juicier connection with our bodies and partners post baby.

Postpartum Program Overview

Rediscover (or discover for the first time!) your desire and embrace your postpartum journey with our unique course, blending education and support. The 'Postpartum Libido Liberation' course is designed to empower you with knowledge while providing a nurturing space for growth and connection.

Each week, you'll have access to a recorded educational session that dives deep into topics surrounding postpartum sexual health and wellness (scroll to the bottom section for specific topic areas). These sessions can be watched at any time, allowing you the flexibility to learn at your own pace. Alongside these educational resources, we will meet live, for one hour, every Sunday at 7 pm EST, starting October 13th, for 8 weeks on Zoom. These interactive sessions are not recorded, creating a confidential environment for open discussions, shared experiences, and community support.

Our program also includes a private community space for ongoing support and connection between sessions. You'll have access to a dedicated portal with all recordings and resources, ensuring you have the tools and support needed to liberate your libido and thrive in your postpartum journey.

Choose a tier that reflects not only your financial capacity, but also your commitment to empowering other mothers.

Payment Plans are available for all tiers - 3 equal payments every 2 weeks.

Nurture Tier - $260

This is our most accessible tier, ensuring that every mother can participate regardless of financial constraints. Your choice at this level covers the essentials of your participation, allowing you to benefit from the program while supporting operational costs.

Empower Tier - $460

Choosing this tier means you're not only covering your costs but also helping to sustain the program's foundational expenses. This level supports the continuation of essential services and the maintenance of a supportive educational environment.

Revolutionize Tier - $660

Investing at this level has a profound impact. Your contribution enables us to offer subsidized spots to mothers struggling financially, ensuring wider access to these vital resources. Additionally, this tier supports community outreach and advocacy efforts, driving systemic change in how postpartum health and sexuality are addressed. By choosing this tier, you're contributing to a revolution in maternal sexual health care, making a lasting impact on our community and beyond.

By choosing a higher tier, you’re helping to turn 'Mama Comes First' from a statement into a movement - for all mothers.

An inclusive space, rooted
in Matricentric Feminist.

Our program is committed to inclusivity and respects diverse backgrounds, family structures, gender identities and sexual orientations.

Our choice to use the terms "mother/mama/mom" alongside gender-neutral language is rooted in a matricentric feminist perspective, which highlights and values the labor, experiences, and specific societal challenges faced by those who give birth and nurture in a role traditionally defined as "mothering."

This approach allows us to honor the history and struggles of mothering, while also embracing the fluidity of modern identities.

FAQ

  • Our program is committed to inclusivity and respects diverse backgrounds, family structures, gender identities and sexual orientations.

While we use gender-neutral language in our materials and discussions to ensure a supportive and inclusive environment for everyone, we do also use the terms "mother/mama/mom" at times. This choice is deeply rooted in a matricentric feminist perspective, which aims to highlight and value the labor, experiences, and specific societal challenges faced by those who give birth and nurture in a role traditionally defined as "mothering."

We recognize that not all people who give birth and fulfill these roles identify as mothers, and we strive to create a space that acknowledges and celebrates diverse family structures and experiences. Our facilitators are trained to address specific concerns that may arise for LGBTQ+ participants and are sensitive to the preferences and needs of all participants regarding how they identify.

By using the term "mother" alongside gender-neutral language, we aim to honor the history and struggles of mothering while also embracing the fluidity of modern identities. This approach allows us to discuss and address the unique aspects of postpartum challenges within a framework that respects and uplifts all experiences.

We encourage participants to share their preferred terms and pronouns with us and the group, ensuring that everyone feels seen, respected, and supported throughout our program.

  • Absolutely! Non-binary, transgender, and gender-nonconforming individuals who have experienced childbirth and are in the postpartum period will find relevant content and support in this program. We address a wide range of postpartum experiences and challenges that are applicable regardless of gender identity.

  • LGBTQ+ participants can expect a respectful and affirming space where their unique experiences and needs are acknowledged. We discuss topics that are specifically relevant to LGBTQ+ families, such as navigating healthcare systems that may not fully understand or respect their identities and relationships. Additionally, our support groups include members from diverse backgrounds, ensuring that everyone can find community and understanding.

  • We prioritize privacy and sensitivity in all our sessions. Discussions are conducted in a confidential manner, and we encourage participants to share only what they feel comfortable with. Our facilitators are trained to manage sensitive topics with care and respect for everyone’s experiences and boundaries.

  • The program is delivered online, allowing you to participate from the comfort of your home. This format provides flexibility and ensures that mothers from all over can join without the need to travel.

  • Each session lasts one hour and includes a combination of educational content, interactive activities, and group discussions. The sessions are structured to provide you with knowledge, practical strategies, and peer support.
